The next 'casualty catastrophe,'

The use of cell phones and other wireless technologies is being called the next 'casualty catastrophe,' after tobacco and asbestos. Cell phone use is much more dangerous for children because their skulls are a lot thinner. Brain tumors associated with cell phone use has replaced leukemia as the number one child-killer.
*Microwave oven: 800 microvolts
*WiFi Router: 800 microvolts
*Tablet PC: 2,000 microvolts (watching a movie).
*Smartphone: 40,000 microvolts (Samsung S3).
This is over a thousand times the normal background radiation levels of 30 microvolts.

Produce Wash

Wash produce right before you eat it, not when you bring it home from the grocery store Making your own produce wash is more cost effective. The acid in lemon juice and vinegar helps to kill bacteria and dissolve the wax and residues, & parasites found on the skins of your fruits and veggies
The solution works to both breakdown and clean off pesticides.
1 cup water
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 of a lemon
1 tbsp baking soda (optional)
Mix ingredients in deep container since there will be some fizzing from the baking soda & vinegar. Then pour into a spray bottle.

The Health Crisis (In a Nutshell)

•People are unaware of how the toxic substances we consume, use, breathe, and think affect our cells and body functions.
•The mind/body/spirit connection & managing stress play a large role.
•Mitochondria (cellular batteries) are damaged, dysfunctional, and lacking in nutrients to generate ATP energy needed for health.
•Excess simple sugars bombard the cells which eventually start closing the doors to insulin (insulin resistance).
•Without needed complex sugars in the cells, lack of ATP causes cells to power down and functions diminish, symptoms appear.
•Sugar backs up in blood, becomes sticky, sticks to fats & proteins (glycation explained on next slide).
•Fatigue, craving, discomfort, sleep challenges, premature aging and disease can follow and compound as we “power down” – have you heard of “Metabolic Syndrome X”?.

Antifungal Bread Substitute: made from almond flour

Antifungal Bread Substitute: made from almond flour, and it truly is very simple to make! It freezes great; you can make a double batch so you always have some on hand. You can add any spices you want to add some pizzazz or just keep it plain and simple. Either way, it’s a great healthy bread option.

1 cup blanched almond flour
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons cold water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons fruit juice sweetened dried cranberries
1 Tablespoon raw sunflower seeds
1 stem of fresh, tender rosemary

Preheat oven to 350. reserving about half of the sunflower seeds, place remaining ingredients into a food processor and process until combined and holding together. With processor turned off, sprinkle remaining sunflower seeds evenly over the top of the mixture. Replace lid and pulse just to combine and coarsely chop remaining sunflower seeds.
Carefully remove dough from bowl and form into a ball. Place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and top with a second sheet of paper. Roll dough out until is is about 1/8 inch thick, trying to keep the thickness as even as possible, especially near the edges. Remove top sheet of paper. If desired, sprinkle dough with a tiny bit more salt.
Cut dough with a long knife or pizza cutter into cracker sized pieces. Transfer dough (on paper) to a baking sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes. Rotate pan and bake for about 5 more minutes. Allow crackers to cool before serving.

What are you feeding YOUR brain?

Besides obesity, ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) are huge issues that our children are being diagnosed with. Did you know that if you take a pinch of sugar, a pinch of yeast and add milk, it will turn into alcohol in less than 60 seconds?  So a breakfast of milk and cereal could be sending our kids off to school a little tipsy! And then for lunch they are usually eating some type of bread loaded with yeast, a sugary treat and chocolate milk (which is also loaded with sugar).  It's no wonder the teachers are having issues with children’s behavior! Diet is a big issue & we have found an outstanding breakthrough in brain health.  Call me if you know someone that could benefit from great information.
