Accelerated Growth in Beef Cows

True or False
European countries have banned the use of Zeranol, which is an estrogenic chemical used to accelerate growth in beef cows, & is made from the fungal poison, zearalenone.
True & the US still permits the use of Zeranol to promote growth in conventional beef cattle. Eating these animals puts more chemicals & fungus into our bodies.  Is it a wonder America has morbid obesity diabetes & cancer over the top?  Conventionally raised beef are also raised on copious amounts of grain and corn - enter the problem of mycotoxins (fungus again) - and fed antibiotics, which are, by definition, mycotoxins, a cancer causing fungus). In addition, because of the way these animals are fed, the fat profile in their meat heavily favors Omega 6. Consuming greater proportions of this type of fat is linked with inflammatory problems. Just 1 more reason to buy only grass fed, organically grown animals.
